Cooking Class Description: KCBS style & back yard cookout

This class is taught by Marty Marlow of Rooster's Competition BBQ team assisted by Brian Kromer, Pit Master of Karma Cook & BBQ Gitanos.

- BBQ roundtable Q&A Session with Two KCBS Certified BBQ Judges, One KCBS Certified Steak Judge, 3 different Champion Pit Masters on the KCBS Master Series Competition Circuit. Pit Master Marty Marlow from Rooster's Competition BBQ Team, Pit Master Art Ruiz Jr From Rooster's Competition BBQ Team, & Pitmaster Brian Kromer from BBQ Gitano's Competition BBQ Team!

Rooster’s Competition BBQ Tell All MasterClass will be held in Denver at The Lodge at Woods Boss Brewing Company. The Class will Start Friday afternoon at 5:00 PM & go until about 8:00PM Friday night with meat trimming and understanding of meat structure. The class continues at 7:30 AM on Saturday and will wind down around 6:00 PM that evening after everything is cooked and we are full of BBQ!!!

This class will make you the BBQ king of your neighborhood!

How to cook: Pulled Pork, Money Muscle, Tubes, Brisket, Burnt Ends, St. louis Style Ribs, and Chicken! You will also learn how to cook on Pellet grills (Traeger) and a offset stick burner (Jambo Pit). Trim, season & cook.

If Competitors are present, we also teach you how to build Competition Boxes like you saw on TVs BBQ Pitmasters!!!

Recipes of everything we cook in class.

Whether you are serving BBQ judges, customers, or just friends and family, you'll elevate your BBQ game at this class. So, come down to The Lodge at Woods Boss Brewing Company and let us cook a little Q together!

The class entry fee covers all cost of the meats, seasonings, wood, instruction, as well as Craft Beer for each participant.

What you will learn

Cooking Class Description: The perfect Barbecue class teaching how to master cooking ribs on the pit. You will also learn how to perfectly cook your burgers, ribs, chops and other cuts of meats for your special occasions. Brian has been barbecuing for years and has taken part in local, national and international BBQ competitions. Raised in Texas he loves those southern flavors but over the years has created his own unique style that will have you licking your fingers.

He will take you through the process of prepping your meat, putting it on the grill and setting the right temperature for a juicy and tender finale.

What To Expect: This is a mostly outdoor event so dress for the weather. You will learn easy techniques, habits, and herb combinations to make your meals pop!

  • Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours, unless otherwise noted above

  • Hands-on classes are limited to 8 students

  • You will be standing,  watching and participating to some extend for most of the class. Bring a chair if you like.

  • Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back

  • You will enjoy a generous portion of the meal cooked on site.

  • Students receive a coupon good for 10% off in purchases of the Mediterranean cookbook the day of class

 

Karma Cook recipes are developed using common cooking and baking ingredients that may or may not be specified in the menu titles, including various fruits and vegetables, nuts, meats, spices, wheat flours, etc. If you have a food allergy, please check with instructor before attending the class so arrangements can be made. Adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class.

Cancellation & Media Policy

Thank you for registering to attend a Karma Cook Cooking Class or Private Event. This policy describes what happens should you need to cancel. To receive a full refund, cancel up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time for cooking classes and at least 14 days before the scheduled date for private events. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method. Should you prefer, you can choose to receive your refund in the form of a Karma Cook credit for future events/classes.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds or in-store credit for cancellations made within 48 hours of your class start time or within 14 days of your private event. Cancellations or changes can be made (1) in person at the class location or (2) by sending a cancellation email. Please look for a cancellation confirmation to know that we have received your request. We cannot accept or honor cancellations made by email or left on voicemail.

When Karma Cook must cancel/reschedule a class/event due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control (e.g., power outages, facility issues, low attendance, etc.), we will attempt to notify you by email or telephone with as much notice as possible. If this occurs, We need a minimum of 8 attendees to run the cooking classes. Karma Cook will issue a full refund to the original form of payment or issue credit for future events if you so choose.. However, if we do not affirmatively cancel a class by email or telephone and you are unable to attend, our standard cancellation policy applies. Please note that Karma Cook reserves the right to modify class menus at any time due to ingredient availability or seasonality.

Online & Live Cooking Class Waiver and Media Release I understand that by turning on my electronic device’s camera during an Online Cooking Class, it will broadcast to the Chef and class participants. I consent to and allow any reproduction of any and all photographs or video recordings taken of myself or member of my household during our participation in the Online Cooking Class. I agree to Karma Cook’s right to use or reproduce such photographs and video recordings in any media, including social media or online.
